If you’re one of the lucky few who got ahold of the new iPhone 4,
be careful how you hold it, or you may lose your call. Less than 24 hours after the smart phone's release, customers were up in arms. Holding the phone from its bottom half significantly reduces signal quality. The "death grip", as pc magazine dubbed it, also reduced data download speeds by 50% or more, and caused several early buyers to go into a panic. iPhone users tried a variety of homemade tricks to remedy the solution. One gizmodo reader suggested applying a coat of nail polish to the area between the two antennas as a possible fix. But don't be quick to break out the nail polish just yet - Apple warns that "unauthorized modifications" may void the phone's warranty.
